Salento’s craftsmanship revisited with a contemporary feeling.
Objects have a soul, especially the ones we use every day. Basket makers, tinsmiths, potters, cooks, and weavers, for centuries have been creating objects with a story to tell.
Some of these objects immediately evoke images, people and places from the past, they are part of Salento’s tradition and should not be forgotten. They can decorate tables, corners of the house, the garden, or be a perfect gift.
Objects inspired by Salento’s harsh nature, plants and stones. The colour of the olive trees changes with the changing of the seasons; soft shades of green in spring, hard, greyish and sun dried in summer.
Terracotta artisans work on the lathe to create suggestive lanterns, table furniture, plates, cups and jugs. Objects immersed in white enamels, copper green, cobalt blue, ivory, majolica colours reminiscent of our Baroque buildings.
